Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring high-quality results that support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities
* Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately to obtain clear images
* Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Ensure all imaging procedures comply with established protocols and quality control standards
* Maintain accurate records of procedures performed using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
* Assist in the calibration and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results effectively
* Uphold strict infection control procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment
* Contribute to ongoing research activities related to imaging techniques, biochemistry, or product development when required
Experience
* Prior laboratory experience or exposure to scientific research environments is highly desirable
* Knowledge of quality control processes within medical or laboratory settings
* Familiarity with biochemistry principles relevant to radiographic procedures or contrast media usage
* Experience working in regulated environments such as those governed by CGMP standards is advantageous
* Proficiency in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management
* Previous experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar diagnostic imaging role is preferred, demonstrating competence in clinical imaging practices
