We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic Urology Outpatients Department, supporting patients undergoing LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal Biopsy) and flexible cystoscopy procedures.
Main duties of the job:
* Prepare and maintain clinical environments for LATP and flexible cystoscopy clinics
* Chaperone and assist patients during procedures
* Carry out clinical observations and document vital signs
* Support infection prevention and control practices
* Assist with stock control and clinic equipment preparation
* Provide reassurance and clear information to patients before, during, and after procedures

Person Specification – Essential
* 2 years minimum experience within an outpatient setting
* Currently practising or has practised within urology outpatients for a minimum of 6 months over the last 12 months
