About the role
As an Event Project Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and the Account Lead of Retail to manage and deliver a small selection of retail, placemaking, public realm, and brand activation events across our portfolio. Your main responsibility will be the seamless end‑to‑end delivery of public realm activations and support for corporate bookings at Drumsheds.

A friendly, organised people person with a passion for the events industry. You will be responsible for understanding ground operations, client journeys, staffing, and supplier coordination to ensure each event runs smoothly.
What you’ll be responsible for
Planning and Brief Process
* Create and deliver full event budgets aligned with client expectations.
* Assist with proposals and budgeting for pitches or RFP bids.
* Document debriefs and capture learnings.
* Attend and lead project client meetings with detailed note‑taking.
Event Planning and Delivery
* Own end‑to‑end delivery of a range of small events, including supplier management, operations, client guidance, communication, budgeting, and wrap‑up.
* Manage budgets and assist with invoice processing and system updates.
* Maintain schedules, to‑do lists, and workload, reporting issues and managing time effectively.
* Attend site visits, gathering essential information and clarifying queries.
* Maintain expertise on client‑owned premises and repeat venues, including supplier relationships.
* Apply and maintain H&S procedures, risk assessments, and documentation.
* Coordinate logistics for quick kit movement across events.
* Procure permits and council permissions for public realm events.
* Collaborate with production teams, ensuring basic setups for screens, power, lecterns, and lighting are met.
You’ll need to have
* 2+ years of event industry experience with hands‑on delivery of small to mid‑scale events.
* Proven end‑to‑end event management, including logistics, suppliers, staffing, and on‑site delivery.
* Strong budgeting and financial administration skills.
* Experience briefing, coordinating, and managing staffing teams, suppliers, and external partners.
* Solid understanding of event operations, site visits, and on‑ground requirements.
* Knowledge of H&S processes, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
* Confidence in client communication, leading meetings, taking briefs, and managing expectations.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with calmness under pressure.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
* Proficient with Google Drive and general office tools, quick to learn new systems.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
Nice to haves
* Experience on retail, placemaking, or public realm activations.
* Familiarity with council permissions, licensing, and permit processes.
* Basic understanding of event production (AV, power, lighting).
* Experience supporting pitches or RFP responses.
* Knowledge of event/project management systems.
Location: Tottenham and Canada Water, London
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent (42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with OT or lieu days for weekend work)
