Job role: Support Worker
Location: Lyndale, Hereford (HR1)
Salary: £13.20 - £13.90 per hour
Shift patterns: 07:00-14:00, 14:00-21:00 and 07:00-21:00
About Lyndale
Lyndale is a Hereford-based residential service catering to individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism. The service accommodates up to 10 adults and delivers personalised support tailored to individual needs. It is located in Hereford, a 5 minute walk from the train station. The role involves supporting individuals with daily activities, promoting independence and wellbeing.
The individuals we support participate in activities in the local community, including cinema visits, seaside trips, meals out, shopping and appointments as required.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine for the people we support.
* Promoting independence and helping individuals live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting and developing personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
* Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
Experience within the care sector is not required as we offer full training, coaching and development.
