The Learning and Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a key role in driving external hiring and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience from hiring through to onboarding. This position manages the end‑to‑end recruitment process, oversees onboarding plans through the ATS, and ensures the continuous maintenance and delivery of learning and development initiatives that strengthen capability, support progression, and align with the company's talent development framework.


1. External Recruitment & Onboarding (Managerial and Head Office appointments)

* Partner with senior hiring managers to define job requirements, sourcing strategies, and selection processes for head office and management positions.
* Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and reference checks for managerial and head office hires.
* Engage with external recruitment partners and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles.
* Coordinate and facilitate effective onboarding programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new associates and compliance with company policies.
* Maintain the ATS to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and smooth recruitment workflows.
* Provide hiring compliance support to venue hiring managers when required.
* Maintain hiring pack and onboarding compliance via the ATS system.
* Track and report on recruitment metrics (e.g., time to hire, quality of hire, candidate experience).


2. Internal Talent Development & Mobility (Supporting our workforce)

* Support the implementation of the organisation's internal careers and succession procedures, promoting transparency and career growth opportunities for associates.
* Facilitate internal mobility processes including advertising internal vacancies, assessing internal applications, and managing internal transitions.
* Facilitate training for line managers and associates as per operational practices and people procedures.
* Partner with senior managers and HR colleagues to identify and develop internal talent pools for succession planning and critical roles.
* Deliver internal development programmes aligned with the talent framework (e.g., leadership development, career pathways, skills assessments).
* Maintain accurate talent data and contribute to regular talent reviews and development planning processes.


3. Stakeholder Support

* Act as a trusted advisor to managers on all aspects of recruitment, talent development, and internal mobility.
* Coach hiring managers on inclusive recruitment and talent procedures, plus other development practices as required.


4. Projects & Continuous Improvement

* Support the implementation of recruitment and talent initiatives, including onboarding and maintenance of digital tools or platforms.
* Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and internal development processes based on feedback and best practices.
* Partner with external providers to coordinate and deliver training initiatives that enhance capability and ensure our workforce consistently achieves operational excellence.
* Support the cycle of continuous learning culture and embed L&D initiatives.


Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources &/or Learning development processes at Advisor level (Supervisor/ Manager: 2+ years)
• Proven experience in recruitment and talent development in a hospitality, leisure/social entertainment environment.
• Experience working with recruitment systems (ATS), onboarding tools, and talent management platforms (Mapal/Flow Hospitality).
• Familiarity with internal mobility frameworks, succession planning, or career development programs is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Proactive, data‑driven, and passionate about creating a great candidate and associate experience.
