The Role
You will oversee the day-to-day running of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Directing end to end operations across logistics, warehousing, purchasing, quality, HR, and IT. Managing a team of around 50 people across these functions. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress into a broader, more strategic leadership position while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and continuously improve operational processes across the Group.
* Oversee supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and distribution to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Work closely with the senior leadership team to set and deliver business goals.
* Implement systems, metrics, and KPIs to monitor performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
* Lead, mentor, and develop teams across logistics, warehousing, purchasing, quality, HR, and IT.
* Drive operational projects that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainable growth.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety, and company policies.
* Support financial planning, budgeting, and cost control in collaboration with the finance team.
Key Deliverables
* Build a deep understanding of the group’s inventory profile, working with customers to proactively reduce slow-moving and obsolete stock .
* Strengthen partnerships with 3PL providers to ensure seamless customer deliveries
* Coach and mentor team leaders to enhance their performance, accountability, and leadership capability.
* Oversee the successful implementation of a new ERP system across the group.

Proven experience working within the SME environment, demonstrating a hands-on approach to daily business operations. This role is a great fit for someone looking to step up into a wider operational leadership position and expand their strategic influence.
