About the Client:
VWA are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Financial Administrator to join a fantastic, collaborative Interior & Architectural Design Studio. Our client is renowned for their great reputation and their motivated, supportive team.
About the role:
As Financial Administrator you will be responsible to undertake the company's day-to-day accounting procedures. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Managing accounts receivable and payable
* Liaising with clients on all financial related issues
* Controlling credit and chasing debt
* Preparing and processing payments nationally and internationally
* Managing and reporting cashflow
* Liaising and assisting an external bookkeeper with VAT returns and EOY accounts
* Assisting COO on producing finance reports, reporting to HMRC, pension and payroll
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Financial Administrator in the UK
* AAT Accounting qualification
* Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
* Multi-currency accounting
* Proficiency on Apple Macs
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
* Working with high accuracy and excellent attention to detail
* Outstanding organisational and time management skills and ability to switch between projects and tasks effectively
* Excellent communications skills and fluency in both written and spoken English
* Positive and self-motivated
Additional information:
* Part-time: 20 - 25 hours a week
* Salary up to £45k pro-rata, dependent on experience
* Hybrid: 1 day in the office, the rest of the week at home
* Flexible hours within studio opening hours Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM (but should include some work every day)
