Head of Marketing Role

We are recruiting for an innovative UK-based technology business. With a strong customer base and international footprint, they are looking to elevate their marketing strategy and execution.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will be accountable for delivering a high-impact marketing strategy and raising their profile in global markets.
You’ll oversee the entire marketing function — with a focus on thought leadership, content, product marketing, digital, events, and PR. You’ll also manage and coach a small in-house team, including:
Digital Marketing Manager
Digital Marketing Executive
Events Executive
Product Marketing Manager (reports into this role)
What You’ll Be Responsible for:
Developing and owning the global marketing strategy, aligned with business and revenue objectives
Acting as an ambassador for the brand – attending events, supporting sales efforts, and representing the business confidently in public and executive settings
Leading all external communications, PR, thought leadership and content output
Delivering and refining a clear messaging framework to support the product roadmap, sales strategy and brand positioning
Coaching and mentoring the team — building capability and accountability across digital, content, events and product marketing
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering and Exec teams to drive alignment and results
Improving PR strategy, agency relationships, and overseeing content (press releases, case studies, thought leadership)
Creating and managing a multi-channel demand generation engine
Driving and tracking performance through key metrics, campaign analysis, and ROI reporting
Ensuring brand consistency and impact across all international regions
What You Bring:
We’re looking for someone who has already done this job — and done it well.
Significant experience in a senior B2B and B2G marketing leadership role is essential
Background in a technology-driven, international organisation (life sciences, telecoms, critical comms, or similar welcome)
Experience selling through partners, agencies, and directly to governments
Strategic mindset, with proven experience working closely with Sales, Product, and Exec teams
Strong team leadership, with experience mentoring and developing high-potential marketers
Exceptional communication skills – written, visual and verbal
Confident presenting on stage and representing the business externally
Deep understanding of how marketing supports complex sales cycles and product positioning
PR-savvy – able to lead messaging, oversee content and own agency relationships
International outlook and understanding of global Business to Government marketing landscapes
