Your Role
As a Van Driver, you’ll play a vital role in delivering food orders to our customers with a friendly and dedicated service. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Conducting thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) regulations.
* Accurately picking and delivering customer orders while maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature controlled vehicle.
* Handling food produce manually and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW) and hygiene legislation.
* Utilizing your strong communication and teamwork skills to solve basic problems and make routine decisions.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
* A full driver’s license and extensive road knowledge of the local area.
* A commitment to high standards of vehicle checks and compliance.
* A willingness to learn and grow, with ambition to become an HGV2 driver in the future (we’ll support you through our driver development program!).
