About Our Client
Our client is a FMCG business in Newton le Willows with a medium sized finance team, having gone through a new acquisition they are increasing a couple of their finance departments on a permanent full time basis.
Job Description
3. Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to analyse performance, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights
4. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes
5. Build and maintain financial models to support commercial initiatives
6. Partner with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and operations
7. Support senior analysts and finance managers in preparing business cases and presenting key financial data
8. Learn to translate complex data into clear, concise reports and recommendations
The Successful Applicant
9. A graduate (or final-year student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
10. Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
11. Confident with Excel and an interest in learning financial systems and tools
12. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
13. Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
14. Proactive, motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
