Position Summary
As the Director of Nursing in a SNF setting, you are responsible for organizing, developing, managing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. You will work directly with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. You will follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.
Education & Qualification
* Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state in which you work.
* Current CPR or BLS certification.
* Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long‑term care.
* Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
