Job Title: Client Service Manager
Our client is a well-known and respected HVAC contractor with a nationwide presence across the UK, supporting over 130 employees and generating a turnover exceeding £20M. They specialize in installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, chillers, AHUs, ventilation, and commercial heating.
The company operates as an Employee-Owned Trust, giving employees a genuine stake in management and profits, fostering a long-term focus on business success and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a P&L of approximately £1.3M, ensuring efficient operation of service and maintenance contracts across the region.
2. Oversee and lead a team of mobile engineers, maintaining high service quality and productivity standards.
3. Drive continuous improvements and maintain strong client relationships to secure contract extensions and remedial works.
4. Monitor financial performance, including profit and loss, cost control, and budget adherence.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in service or operations management within HVAC, with technical mastery of heating, cooling, wet systems, and plant rooms.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of engineers.
* Excellent client-facing skills, capable of discussing systems, service schedules, and remedial works confidently.
* Financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
* Committed to professional development and increasing responsibilities.
