Protection & Controls Engineer (Design)

This is a pure design role, focused on protection studies, relay application, and technical documentation (no operational or SCADA responsibilities).
The Role
* Develop protection philosophies in line with DNO / National Grid standards
* Carry out fault level calculations, grading & coordination studies
* Design schemes for transformers, feeders, busbars & cables
* Produce protection single lines, schematics & calculation reports
* Support technical assurance and design reviews
About You
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 3-7 years' experience in Protection & Controls design
* Experience on UK DNO or National Grid projects
* Strong knowledge of HV/EHV protection systems and relays (ABB, Siemens, SEL, GE, Schneider)
* Working towards or holding CEng desirable
