About The Opportunity
Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all the operations of the UK & EMEA region. You will have a growth mindset with strong financial acumen, strengthening LPA's position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Strategy
* Overseeing daily operations of the UK & EMEA region including business development and sales, design, finance, projects and distribution of products.
* Creating and implementing growth strategies across different business functions to maximise performance and profit.
* Establish departmental strategies, setting clear goals and KPIs.
* Hiring key personnel and overseeing training programs.
* Evaluating and deciding upon investments in equipment, infrastructure, and people.
* Lead the organisation through growth, diversification and cultural change.
* Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
* Provide solutions and manage complex issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, performance management, loss of business to competitors.
* Identifying and managing operational risks for the organisation and mitigating those risks promptly.
* Driving brand engagements and value in the business.
Leadership
* Lead a culture of mentorship, innovation, shared responsibility, and empowerment across the business units.
* Set the tone from top in accordance with LPA’s code of conduct, values and expectations.
* Ensure teams apply high social responsibility practices when undertaking their duties.
Financial Growth
* Deliver new revenue opportunities and meet with large clients
* Ensuring financial activities are monitored and reviewed against agreed budgets and informing the executive team in a timely manner should you become aware of any material adverse movements to the budget.
* Achieve financial stability and sufficient cash flow.
* Implement, where appropriate, cost saving strategies that will continue to provide an efficient and productive output.
* Reporting key results to senior executives.
* Reviewing financial statements, sales or other performance data to measure productivity.
* Identifying areas needing cost reduction or process improvement.
* Maintain and optimise company budgets.
Compliance
* Meet regulatory compliance with the federal and local legislation and regulations.
* Fulfilling the organisation’s legal obligations & government requirements.
* Deliver high quality product and services as well as meeting OHS, and Environmental compliance in relation to local legislation as well as ISO standards.
* Manage output in line with ISO standards.
* Lead and promote a culture that supports safety and sustainability.
* Ensuring legal, ethical and professional practices and boundaries align with the organisation’s code of conduct & values.
* Drive health and safety initiatives and compliance ensuring staff adhere.
General Support
Given the tight knit team, where required, step in and support with projects, design, product as well as warehouse activities.
About You
You have at least 10 years prior experience working in a senior management role with strong leadership, strategic growth mindset and people management skills.
You will will need exceptional financial acumen, analytical skill & efficient problem-solving abilities.
Whilst knowledge in lighting or electrical is not mandatory, it will be well regarded.
