Commercial property paralegal
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Property Paralegal to join a lovely firm. The successful candidate will support solicitors and legal executives in a wide range of commercial property transactions. This includes preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing due diligence, liaising with clients and third parties, and ensuring the efficient progression of files from instruction to post-completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and licenses.
* Draft and prepare legal documentation such as contracts, lease agreements, deeds, reports on title, and Land Registry applications.
* Conduct legal research and assist in due diligence investigations including reviewing title documents, searches, and planning documentation.
* Communicate with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other third parties professionally and efficiently.
* Support in the negotiation of leases and ancillary documents under supervision.
* Ensure that all files are maintained in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
* Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks and transactions.
* Assist with post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations.
* Maintain and update case management systems and databases as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Paralegal in a commercial property
* Solid understanding of commercial conveyancing procedures and documentation.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
