ctrg: Mansfield Hub are working in partnership with our long-standing, reputable client based in Pleasley, Mansfield to recruit for an experienced Band Saw Operative to join their team.
We are seeking candidates with previous machine operation experience, specifically Band Saws and CNCs, who can get stuck in and get their head down. This is a busy, industrious site and we are looking for candidates who are hard-working, willing to learn and have a strong work ethic.
Duties Include:
Operate bandsaw machine, ensuring precise measurements and specifications
Read and interpret drawings
Monitor and adjust machine settings for efficiency
Inspect materials for defects before and after cutting
Perform routine equipment maintenance
Adhere to safety guidelines
Successful Candidates Must Have:
Previous machine operation experience
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Own transport is a MUST due to the location of the site
Good eye for detail
Positive Attitude

Reliability
Friendly
Ability to follow instruction
High attention to detail
Hours of work:
Mon- Thurs 7.30-4pm
Fri 7.00-1pm
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, paid weekly.
