Purpose
Due to continued growth, Totalkare has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, strategic and personable individual to join our well-established team as an Area Sales Manager (ASM).
At Totalkare, our mission is to be the go-to experts in commercial vehicle equipment. As an ASM, you will play a key role in driving this mission forward by managing and developing customer relationships within your assigned territory. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and growing existing accounts, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving business development with prospective clients.
In this field-based role, you will be selling a range of industry-leading commercial vehicle workshop equipment — including column lifts, brake testers, and more — to a diverse portfolio of customers across your region.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Building relationships with existing customers to further promote the sales portfolio.
· Drive new business development within the commercial vehicle workshop industry.
· Manage customer queries driven from marketing leads and increase sales.
· Take ownership of your sales territory (North England and some of Scotland)
· Attend monthly sales meetings.
· Be available to stay away overnight in order to cover your territory.
What We Need You to Have
· Experience working within a sales or field sales environment. This role is more about the right driven person rather than specific experience.
· Strong planning and organisational skills.
· Ability to act quickly and reactively use your initiative to solve problems.
· Target and sales orientated, coupled with the ability to work cohesively within a team.
· Customer Satisfaction driven.
· Superb communication skills.
· Ability to seek new opportunities to increase sales and customer relationships.
·
Driving is essential
as well as passing a driving licence check.
· Ideally living somewhere within the sales territory which will cover postcodes: NE, TD, ML & EH. (
