As an Essential Skills Trainer at Get Set UK, you'll deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English, Maths, and ICT, helping learners gain the qualifications and confidence they need to succeed in work, education, and life. You'll support learners from diverse backgrounds, inspiring them to build the skills that open doors to new opportunities. You'll: Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons aligned to the Essential Skills curriculum (English, Maths, and ICT). Deliver and assess accredited qualifications, tracking progress and outcomes. Support learners with varying abilities and starting points, adapting delivery where needed. Maintain accurate records, safeguarding, and compliance documentation. Promote confidence, employability, and lifelong learning through practical teaching. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent, high-quality learner experience. The person Let me ask you: Do you have GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in English, Maths, and/or ICT (or Level 2 Essential Skills)? Do you hold a recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12? Have you delivered Essential Skills in English, Maths, or ICT before?
