Class 2 Drivers

Based Tamworth
Ongoing - Monday to Friday
Start times between 4:00 and 06:00
Pay Rates:
* Weekday - £15.00 plus holiday pay
* Weekend - £16.50 plus holiday Pay
* Night out - £25.00
Driver Require are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Tamworth
The role as an Class 2 driver will include:
* Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.
* Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.
* Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team
* Ensuring the load is strapped down
* Driving a Class 2 Lorry to and from their customer locations
* Multi drop (up to10 drops)
* Handballing required - no dirty work
* Liaising with Customers
* Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts
* Effectively managing your driving time so that you dont acquire infringements.
* Nights out maybe needed
Class 2 Driver requirements:
* Must have 12 months Class 2 Driver experience xsngvjr
* Strapping and loading experience needed
* Be mindful of the vehicles when driving to customer eg fitting into tight spaces
* Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's)
