Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen as we recruit for a Commercial and Social Values Manager within SPS Fauldhouse. The post holder will effectively be responsible for leading commercial projects and managing a small team capable of providing SPS customer departments and external stakeholders with a professional service that will meet the operational and business needs of SPS.
The post holder will promote both Social Value and value for money for SPS.
Although based at SPS Fauldhouse, the post holder will predominantly carry out their duties under a hybrid working model.
Job role
You will be responsible for Producing, implementing and maintaining a sales and marketing strategy for SPS prison industries (projecting demand for new and existing Prison Industry products and services), and identify new trends and opportunities. Develop and implement a set of commercial KPls for Prison Industries - providing regular performance reports/ dashboard.
The post-holder will undertake direct sales and marketing of SPS Prison Industries products and services and develop an online presence for Prison Industries. The post holder will also be responsible for producing agreements with external customers and partners - including sales agreements, employability partnership agreements and other service agreements as appropriate.
If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:
•Degree in a commercial or related discipline (such as finance) or 2 years’ experience in a commercial or related discipline.(Essential)
•A track record of developing successful and longstanding commercial relationships with external parties.(Essential)
•A track record of developing, growing and maintaining a customer base over a sustained period of time.(Essential)
•Experience of setting up and operating a suite of performance metrics/KPls in a commercial setting and reporting on these. (Essential)
•Direct experience in Third/Social Enterprise Sectors(desirable)
