Site Supervisor - Waste & Recycling Facility
Location: North London
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their operations at a waste and recycling facility in North London. This is a hands‑on supervisory role, leading day‑to‑day site activities and managing operational teams.
Responsibilities
* Supervise 3-10 operatives per shift
* Oversee site operations including waste in/out, mobile plant, and site activities
* Manage multiple workstreams across the site
* Use site systems such as SCADA, VMS, and weighbridge systems
Requirements
* Proven supervisory experience in a site‑based environment (construction, industrial, utilities, or similar)
* Strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
* Confident managing teams and operational systems
* Waste industry experience desirable but not essential
Hours & Shifts
* Shift start times between 6:00am - 9:30am
* 8-12 hour shifts, average 39 hours per week
* 1 in 3 weekends (day shifts only)
Contract
* Immediate start
* Initial 2‑month contract with potential to become permanent
