Our client requires a Chef Manager to run a contract in the provision of high end staff catering. Set up in order to help people meet their full potential, this is a great environment in which to work. They are currently seeking an experienced Chef Manager, with a background in B&I catering, to take up the challenge.
Job Description:
Working on a Monday to Friday basis, 40 hours per week will be managing a small team providing to circa 1000 staff. You will be involved in the day to day multi-outlet catering services on site and work with suitable menus that exceed expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure that all health, safety and hygiene standards are met. An experience and knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is essential. Stock and financial control is also in your remit.
Required Experience:
You will have experience of the provision of food to similar volume at Head Chef or Chef Manager level in an industrial environment, or commercial contract. You will need to demonstrate a record of success and the drive and desire always increase standards of food and service. You will require up to date references, and a knowledge of modern food trends and commerciality is paramount.
Salary and Benefits:
The starting salary for this role is £30,000p/a.
