This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a passionate primary teacher looking to make a real impact in KS1.
The Role:
* Full responsibility for teaching and leading learning in a Year 1 class
* Planning, delivering and assessing engaging, creative and age-appropriate lessons
* Creating a nurturing, positive and stimulating learning environment
* Supporting pupils’ phonics, early literacy and numeracy development
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Contributing to the wider life of the school and working collaboratively with the KS1 team
What We’re Looking For:
* A fully qualified teacher (QTS essential)
* Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
* A warm, patient and enthusiastic teaching style
* Someone confident planning independently and delivering high-quality lessons
* A commitment to helping pupils thrive and achieve their full potential
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
