SEN Teaching Assistant – Gateshead
A welcoming specialist school in Gateshead is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties.

The Role Includes:

* Assisting teachers with lesson delivery
* Encouraging positive interactions and engagement
* Supporting behaviour and wellbeing strategies
* Helping pupils work towards individual targets
Applicants Should Be:
* Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic
* Passionate about supporting young people with SEND
* Confident working as part of a team
* Experienced in education, care or youth settings (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
