A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Associate Solicitor to join its Family team.
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied private family law caseload while supporting the continued growth of a well-regarded team. The role would suit a confident solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously, delivering high-quality client care, and contributing to business development activity.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing a busy and diverse family law caseload
* Advising clients on a range of private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and children issues
* Delivering a consistently high standard of client service
* Preparing court documentation and attending hearings, mediations and meetings as required
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
* Supporting junior team members where appropriate
* Contributing to marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private family law
* Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organisational, communication and drafting skills
* Confident and professional client-facing approach
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Experience contributing to business development and networking activities
* Desirable: Experience handling complex financial or children matters
* Advocacy or court attendance experience
* Familiarity with modern case management systems
