HR Administration Apprentice
Yusen Logistics is seeking an HR Administration Apprentice to join our HR Central Department in Nottinghamshire (NG15 0DR). The role reports to the HR Administration Manager and will provide accurate and timely administrative support to ensure the Central HR Department delivers an effective service to staff and management.
Apprenticeship: Level 3 Business Administration. Duration: 15–18 months, delivered by West Notts College, with a monthly masterclass at the college. The apprenticeship will be paid, with an annual salary of £17,425.
Working hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (37.5 hours). Office attendance required one day per week (Mondays) with flexibility to attend additional days.

Main Responsibilities
* Preparation of a variety of documents relating to all aspects of HR and recruitment.
* Ensure recruitment documentation is received and logged – right to work checks following UKVI guidelines, references, Post Offer Health Assessments, DBS, etc. and KPIs maintained.
* Create and maintain electronic personal files, chasing missing employee file information to ensure HR files are complete in line with audit requirements.
* Input new joiners onto the HR system.
* Input new joiners onto the Credence / Clarity dashboards.
* Manage mailbox; respond to administration requests in a timely manner, ensuring timescales meet procedural expectations.
* Escalate any requests for support to HR Business Support or the wider HR team.
* Ensure full compliance with GDPR guidelines when sharing and storing personal information.
* Accurate and timely filing of HR documents, file maintenance and document scanning.
* Complete any other ad‑hoc duties as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs
* Good Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
* Flexible and adaptable to meet business challenges
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are essential
* Highly motivated with a can‑do approach to work
* Ability to prioritise, organise, multitask in a fast‑moving environment
