This Great Hotel on the Coastline with a Fantastic Restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef to join and help lead the kitchen brigade while creating fresh dishes to high standards for guests.

They offer a variety of fresh food choices for their guests and customers, using locally sourced ingredients. The Head Chef and team have strong relationships with local farmers and fishermen to ensure menus incorporate Suffolk's finest ingredients for contemporary dishes.


Main Duties of this Sous Chef role include:

1. Act as a deputy to the Head Chef, taking on responsibilities as required.
2. Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized environment.
3. Assist with and produce accurate stock takes.
4. Carry out quality checks on stock, produce, and dishes.
5. Respond flexibly to business needs.
6. Manage rotas and support the development of the team.
7. Ensure daily food preparation meets recipes and standards.

This is a permanent position.

Applicants should have a stable CV with excellent, traceable references. Candidates must be experienced in working with fresh produce, possess NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent, and hold a hygiene certificate.

You must be working in or residing in the UK, with the ability to prove your right to work. Applicants must be UK/EU citizens with ILR/PR status or hold a valid work permit/visa with at least 2 years remaining.
