Optima Site solutions require an experienced pump engineer for an established mechanical company based in central London. This is an exciting time for the right candidate, the operative will need to be enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable with the drive to hit the ground running in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.
This is a Field-based role and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors.
Services offered within the division are Installation, Servicing, Repairs & Maintenance of pump products, working in the following sectors: Blue-Chip companies, Hotel Chains, Education Establishments, Commercial Buildings. Previous experience within all of these areas is preferred although not essential.
You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered as well as be able to work on your own to budget and the level of professionalism that the company expects.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team
Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to.
Work closely with other engineers and good team player.
Installation, Servicing, Repairs & Maintenance Work
Confined Spaces would Desirable
Pump Maintenance Experience
Good all round commercial maintenance knowledge
Extensive experience working within a commercial environments
Building services knowledge with ideally additional mechanical / ac qualifications but not essential.
An extensive knowledge of Cold-water booster sets, various makes and models.
Pressurisation units, various makes and models.
A good understanding of Inverters and setting up parameters.
A good understanding of Expansion vessels and setting the pressures correctly for the system requirements.
Cold water booster sets Installation experience.
Pressurisation units' installation experience.
Attending to call outs on a rotational basis
Covering South East
Pump Engineer Skills and Experience:
A Full UK Driving License or equivalent (Essential)
A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
At least 2 years of experience working within the sector
Relevant qualifications are desirable such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, City & Guilds
A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
Good product knowledge within the Pump Industry

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £28.00-£28.75 per hour
