Field Service Engineer
Permanent position.
UK wide travel; regional patch with occasional overnight stays and on call.
Areas Available: Harlow, Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, Thetford.

What will you be doing?
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas engines and associated plant
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and carrying out repairs
* Supporting plant uptime and minimising downtime across customer sites
* Completing detailed service reports and technical documentation
* Managing van stock, tools, and spare parts effectively
* Attending breakdown callouts as part of a rota
* Collecting and managing oil samples for analysis
* Supporting junior engineers and contributing to team development
Where will you be doing it?
Working for an established international energy business specialising in gas engine power solutions; operating across a regional UK patch in a customer‑facing role within industrial and energy environments, supported by a strong technical and operational team.
What will you need?
* Experience working on gas engines; CHP, or similar ideal
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
* Engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical, or similar
* Full UK driving licence
* Comfortable using IT systems for reporting and diagnostics
* Willingness to travel and work away occasionally
* Gas Safe qualification advantageous but not essential
