TPS Parts Sales Executive
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, alongside Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce and a management team dedicated to a motivating and inclusive workplace, learning and development opportunities.
Nationally launched in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS is based on an Agency Model, stocking and selling on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has continued to experience rapid growth in the number of Centres and business volumes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre in collaboration with the Sales Manager and team.
* Achieve personal KPI and revenue objectives with target customers.
* Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
* Utilise product promotions effectively to achieve targets.
* Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
* Build strong working relationships with customers through regular phone contact and face-to-face visits.
* Provide a high level of service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
* Provide timely communication to customers on credit status.
* Support TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service and good working relationships.
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets and adopt a joined-up approach to sales.
* Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPI targets using the approved greeting.
* Ensure proper and accurate use of all systems to search and order parts.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
* Adhere to TPS cash and credit card transaction guidelines in the Operations Manual.
Requirements
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
* Confident and capable communicator with experience selling in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
* Passion for providing a great customer service experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
* Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
* IT literate, with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
* A passion for the automotive industry.
