Individual Annuities and Equity Release Insights Specialist
Location – York or Bristol

This role would suit someone with a good understanding of SII and IFRS, who enjoys supporting the story telling of various KPIs and wants to work closely with the business.
A bit about the job:
You will join the Insurance and Retirement Insights team who lead the review and analysis of all internal and external reporting requirements for the Insurance and Retirement parts of UK IWR. The team drive reporting and performance insights, and support submissions to time, cost and quality as required by external and internal stakeholders and compliant with internal and external policies & regulations.
This role is focussed on the Individual Annuities and Equity Release businesses and will work closely with the Finance Business Partners of those businesses.
Key areas of focus will include:
1. Supporting insights analysis on SII and IFRS KPIs, including SII Value of New Business (VNB), Operating Own Funds Generation (OOFG), IFRS Value Added, IFRS Operating profit, IFRS Technical Provisions Analysis of Change.
2. Supporting the businesses by fostering a good relationship with Individual Annuities and Equity Release Business Partners
3. Supporting signoff processes within time and cost with good quality, including explanation of results to senior stakeholders and to external reporting, including Annual and Quarterly QRT, SFCR etc.
4. Supporting any change activity designed to accelerate team processes or alignment between SII and IFRS
5. Operation of controls and documentation of key processes
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
6. Strong communication (verbal, written), collaboration and stakeholder management skills
7. Proactive approach and track record of delivering high quality results in tight timescales
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
9. Strong attention to detail / controls focus
10. Qualified or Nearly qualified Actuary (or similar experience)

11. Salary ranges from £50,000 - £65,000 ( Depending on skills, experience and qualifications)
12. Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
