Key Account Sales Manager – Activated Carbon Products and Services
Salary up to £60k (Depending on experience) + bonus, car or car allowance + benefits
Location: United Kingdom, Home based
A Key Account Sales Manager is required at Carbon Activated Europe, part of the Carbon Activated Group, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of activated carbon products and services to diverse industries.
Due to growth in our European operations (Bristol UK, Dortmund Germany, and Gdansk Poland), we are expanding our European sales team by recruiting additional sales staff in the UK. Candidates should have 3-5 years activated carbon sales management experience in areas such as Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water, and Wastewater.
The role involves managing major accounts across the UK and Europe, working closely with regional sales teams and distribution networks. The ideal candidate will have proven success in sales and marketing of activated carbon products and services, with a focus on growing existing accounts and developing new ones through personal sales, technical expertise, and partnerships.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Key Account Sales Manager or similar, seeking a broader, commercially oriented role.
* Industry experience in Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water, Wastewater, or related fields.
* Ability to manage and grow accounts in collaboration with UK and European teams, and to develop new client relationships.
* Willingness to travel 25-50% across Europe for customer visits, trade shows, and training.
* A degree in Chemistry or a related Science, with additional business qualifications and relevant industry experience.
* Strong leadership skills to coach and develop external teams, ensuring sales targets and customer satisfaction.
* Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, data-driven, with excellent IT, organizational, and planning skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and take ownership of tasks.
