The Nursing Assistant/Escort-Acute Care(Emergency Dept.) functions as a member of the nursing care team in the Medical‑Surgical, Float Pool, Mental Health, and Emergency Department at the Salisbury VA Medical Center, Veterans Health Care Network (VISN6), Salisbury, NC.
Duties
The Nursing Assistant/Escort works in many inpatient care areas within the medical center, including, but not limited to, Medical‑Surgical unit, Emergency Room, Acute Care, Mental Health Unit, and the Long‑Term Care Units. He/she will acquire and maintain unit base competency for each of the above areas.
