Business Development Executive

The role

We are looking for a talented Business Development Executive to add to our established team who will assist in further growing our market position. As a business development executive, you will be given the opportunity to join a self-motivating team who manage and run their own desks with the support of a resourcing consultant to help you deliver on multiple vacancies at all times.

Attitude is key. Ideal candidates will have passion, enthusiasm and the ability to grow the business further. A good eye for detail and business development is a must. We have the set-up, tools and experience to help you achieve your goals.

Key Accountabilities

1. Business development – Create and seize opportunities to build and develop quality business aimed at sustaining and improving Company performance

2. Proactively target new business opportunities through researching the market

3. Establish contacts in potential client organisations and build and maintain positive relationships

4. Ensure compliance requests are met throughout all contracts

5. Create account plans with the aim of maximising revenue potential and exceeding client expectations

6. Carry out regular service reviews with clients

Competencies

1. 5+ years’ experience in business development and/or b-2-b sales
2. Engineering, Energy and/or Construction sector knowledge beneficial but not essential
3. Personable – the ability to network, build and maintain relationships with clients
4. Driven, ambitious and highly motivated with a confident approach
5. Planning and organisation – Establishes processes and plans to achieve performance objectives, sustain and improve business performance
6. Experienced negotiator
7. Customer focus – Strives to meet and exceed the requirements of customers, identifying and responding to those needs, delivering a high-quality professional service
8. Business acumen – Good understanding of financial drivers within the operation and wider commerce in general
