Children's Home Manager – Lead Therapeutic Care in Halifax (Up to £65,000)
Are you a passionate and experienced leader ready to create a positive, therapeutic environment for young people in Halifax? We're looking for a dedicated Children's Home Manager to lead and inspire our service.
Your Pivotal Role
As our Children's Home Manager, you'll be key in making sure our home offers strong therapeutic care. You'll lead by example, guiding your team to provide excellent, person-centred support that truly meets each young person's unique needs. Here's what you'll do:
* Lead Therapeutic Care: Create and implement tailored care plans that address the specific emotional, social, and behavioural needs of each young person.
* Build Your Team: Lead, guide, and train staff in Halifax, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
* Manage Resources: Handle the home's budget and resources effectively and creatively to fully support the therapeutic model of care.
* Ensure Quality: Keep accurate records and follow all Ofsted regulations, National Minimum Standards, and best practices.
What You'll Bring
* Qualification: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Experience: Strong experience as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager in a children's home setting, with a solid understanding of therapeutic approaches and their practical application.
* Driving: A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
