Roles/Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical, electrical and pneumatic maintenance, fault‑finding and repairs across a range of production machinery.
Provide day‑to‑day engineering support across site, ensuring equipment and processes run safely and reliably.
Complete planned maintenance, routine checks and basic site upkeep, with specialist work passed to contractors when needed.
Respond confidently to issues during the day shift, using sound judgement to keep production moving.
Work closely with the engineering team to maintain a safe, organised and efficient operation.
What We're Looking For
A multiskilled engineer with a mechanical/electrical background
A recognized engineering qualification such as NVQ, BTEC or C&G
A time-served engineer able to work alone at times.
A steady, reliable person with good judgement, problem‑solving ability and the maturity to work without constant supervision.
