Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a Learning Assistant to support a KS1 classroom from June on a full-time basis.
You will join a primary school in the BS23 area of North Somerset, a vibrant and inclusive learning community committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in all pupils.
The Role
You will work closely with the class teacher to resource and adapt planning, supporting high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects.
You will also help create learning environments where pupils can expand their knowledge, working 1:1 and in small groups.
You will be expected to:
* Communicate with class teachers, SENCo, and parents.
* Build strong and trustworthy relationships.
* Prioritize pupils’ needs and interests.
* Adapt activities to meet their needs, ensuring access to learning.
