Are you a passionate, reliable, and adaptable Maths teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in High Wycombe? We are currently recruiting Maths Supply Teachers to support secondary schools with day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term cover starting from January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs who want to build confidence, gain experience across a range of schools, or enjoy the flexibility of supply work while continuing to make a strong impact in the classroom.
About the Role:
* Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience and school requirements.
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet curriculum objectives and support students of all abilities.
* Follow existing schemes of work and school policies, or confidently adapt to meet class needs.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, heads of department, and SLT when necessary.
* Be proactive, flexible, and professional while adapting to different school settings.
The ideal candidate will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Strong subject knowledge of the Maths curriculum at secondary level.
* Experience teaching GCSE Maths; A-Level experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to quickly integrate into different school environments.
* A passion for making Maths engaging and accessible for all students.
