GSL Education are seeking passionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils in Nottingham school who need guidance, structure, and someone who truly believes in their potential. The Role of Behaviour Mentor: Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils displaying challenging behaviour Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies Build trusting relationships that encourage positive change and emotional growth Help pupils re-engage with learning and school life through consistent support and encouragement What You’ll Bring as Behaviour Mentor: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs, ideally in an educational setting A calm, patient, and non-judgmental approach Strong communication and de-escalation skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
