Job Description:
As a Domestic Supervisor with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will lead the domestic and laundry team to ensure the environment across the service remains clean, safe, and well‑maintained at all times.
About the Role
You will manage and oversee the domestic and laundry service within Epinal Way Care Centre, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, COSHH, and company policy compliance.
* Supervise and support the Domestic and Laundry team
* Plan and oversee rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
* Monitor performance and address concerns promptly
* Ensure cleaning schedules are completed correctly and on time
* Maintain stock control and order supplies within budget
* Support infection control procedures, including high‑risk or isolation cleaning where required
* Report hazards, maintenance issues, or compliance concerns
* Provide supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to team members
This is a hands‑on leadership role; you will work alongside your team and also carry out cleaning duties yourself.
About You
* Experience in domestic or cleaning services, ideally in a regulated care environment
* Knowledge of infection prevention, COSHH, and safe use of cleaning equipment
* Organised, confident in rota and stock management, and comfortable leading a team
* Strong focus on standards, communication, and consistency
* Reliable, practical and willing to work flexibly
