Our Suzuki dealership in Bury St Edmunds is now looking for a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic aftersales team. Role Overview As a Service Advisor, you will be the key contact for our service customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support throughout their experience with us. From booking services to coordinating with the workshop, you will play a vital role in delivering a smooth and professional service journey. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Provide a friendly and professional welcome to all service customers, handling enquiries efficiently and effectively. Scheduling & Coordination: Manage service bookings and workshop scheduling to ensure optimal capacity and timely completion of work. Aftersales Support: Liaise between customers, technicians, and the parts department to ensure smooth communication and service delivery. Upselling Opportunities: Promote relevant services and products that enhance the customer experience. Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Suzuki and John Banks Group procedures and quality standards. Customer Follow-Up: Maintain communication with customers during and after service appointments to ensure satisfaction. What We’re Looking For Experience in a Service Advisor role or similar within the automotive industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organisation and time management capabilities. A proactive, customer-focused approach with attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and manage a varied workload. Familiarity with Suzuki vehicles (advantageous but not essential). Full UK driving licence required.
