A complex, global Science:led organisation, are seeking a confident and commercially:aware HR Generalist, to join their dynamic UK HR team.
This is a hands:on role where youll be the go:to expert for line managers, tackling everything from employee relations to driving key people initiatives.
The role: Act as first:line HR support for managers across multiple UK sites and provide expert guidance on employee relations matters (disciplinary, performance, absence, etc.). Lead annual cycles such as performance management and compensation. Manage HR activities within a modern HRIS (e.g. Workday), ensuring data accuracy. Analyse HR data to identify trends and inform decisions. Build the tools and reports that support meaningful improvement. Shape and drive the implementation of HR policy and best practice. Support delivery of strategic HR initiatives and transformation programmes. Contribute to training and development activities across the business. Drive continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements: Proven HR generalist experience across a broad remit. Strong employee relations expertise and solid knowledge of UK employment law. Experience working with HR systems (Workday desirable). A data:driven mindset, and confident analysing and interpreting HR metrics. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
