The Role
A leading criminal defence firm with offices in Central and across London are seeking a dedicated Duty Solicitor to join its team.
In this role, you will provide essential legal representation, attending police stations and court hearings under the duty solicitor scheme. The firm handles a wide range of cases, including general crime, serious and complex criminal matters, fraud and financial Crime, and serious sexual offences.
Your responsibilities will include offering immediate legal advice to clients, managing a caseload, and ensuring timely compliance with legal procedures.
The Candidate
* A qualified solicitor with proven experience in criminal law
* Fully accredited as a Duty Solicitor
* Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload under pressure
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* A commitment to providing the best possible legal defence
