Role Overview
The Technical Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. This role will lead technical assurance programs, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to maintain brand integrity and consumer trust.
Working Hours
40 hours per week.
Monday – Friday, core hours of 9am – 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure food safety, legality, quality, and integrity for all customers through the development, implementation, and adherence to technical policies and procedures.
2. Play an active role in achieving site accreditations by ensuring compliance and audit readiness for BRCGS and customer audits.
3. Develop and implement robust traceability systems to ensure transparency, regulatory compliance, and full product traceability.
4. Lead and manage pest control strategies within the food factory, protecting product integrity and maintaining a hygienic production environment in line with food safety standards.
5. Oversee product testing to ensure food safety and environmental monitoring ensure that the production environment does not contribute to contamination
