Hybrid Health & Safety Officer | Manchester | Up to £35,000 + Benefits Hybrid working with national travel (including overnight stays) required between March and September, approximately once or twice a week Role Purpose To assist with and, where appropriate, lead or facilitate the implementation of Health & Safety management systems to ensure legal compliance and promote safe working practices. The role involves delivering training, providing strategic advice, conducting risk assessments, and performing compliance audits across retail, office, concessions, and warehouse operations. Health & Safety Officer Key Responsibilities Conduct and review detailed risk assessments across all operational areas including retail, office, and concessions. Carry out internal compliance audits to ensure adherence to legal requirements and company policies. Support and improve the Health & Safety Management System, maintaining all related documentation (e.g., Safe Working Methods, COSHH, manual handling assessments, emergency procedures). Provide training and inductions for new employees and deliver in-person training during national site visits. Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; compile reports, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
