Supporting Children and Young People
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers. As a key member of our staff, you will work with children and young people who may have emotional or behavioural challenges, providing support and guidance to help them live safely, confidently, and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing day-to-day support, care, and guidance
* Building trusting, meaningful relationships with young people
* Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and positive routines
* Supporting with education, daily tasks, and community activities
* Keeping accurate records and following safeguarding protocols
* Working closely with families, team members, and professionals
Requirements:
* Experience working with children/young people (desirable but not essential)
* A caring, patient, and resilient attitude
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it
* Ability to work shifts, including some weekends and sleep-ins
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* PMVA/CPI trained (a bonus)
* Driving licence (preferred but not required)
