Electrical Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of LV building services projects. The role involves overseeing technical submissions, project coordination, and site delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend project start-up meetings and become familiar with all project specifications and details.
* Collate technical submittals, manage approvals, and follow through on all documentation.
* Raise and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed.
* Track labour resources and maintain project labour tracker.
* Produce weekly progress reports and manage changes or variations.
* Liaise with main contractors, clients, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant, equipment, and materials.
* Ensure adequate materials are available to meet project requirements.
* Implement and monitor construction and commissioning programmes, ensuring the commissioning plan is followed on site.
* Generate biweekly/monthly snag lists and improvement actions.
* Manage project handover process and maintain project documentation within the document management system.
* Develop project-specific schedules and timelines.
* Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of works.
* Participate in general site meetings and action items as required.
* Communicate innovative or project-specific solutions to senior management or contracts team.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
* Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects.
* Relevant qualification in Construction or Project Management preferred.
* Experience in supervising and coordinating teams on complex projects.
