We currently have an opportunity for one hard working individual to join our Day Portering team. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, strive to provide good customer service, adopt a flexible approach to their work and be a good team player. 37.5 hours Day Porter (permanent position) Working to clearly defined policies and procedures, and under limited direction; the post holder will contribute towards the delivery of a friendly, efficient, customer focused Portering team, which supports the achievements of the local and wider Trust objectives. The position involves frequent long periods of standing and walking and there is a frequent requirement to exert moderate physical effort for several short periods during a shift. There is frequent exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances, which require a high degree of tact, empathy, integrity and strict adherence to relevant Trust policies and procedures. There is frequent requirement for flexibility in an environment that is unpredictable; and the ability to keep calm under pressure is paramount.
