About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias to join a growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with cutting-edge machinery in a modern production environment and play a key role in maintaining high operational standards.
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias, you will initially be based at the Leigh site for training before transitioning to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Warrington.
The Role
This hands-on position is ideal for a proactive and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving automated production equipment while ensuring minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and troubleshoot automated processing machinery
* Carry out electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
* Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns
* Support planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
* Work closely with Production and Quality teams to optimise performance
* Use CMMS systems to track and manage maintenance tasks
About You
To succeed as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias, you will bring strong technical expertise combined with a flexible, problem-solving mindset.
Essential Requirements:
* Completed recognised apprenticeship with ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Proven experience in industrial maintenance
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills with mechanical competence
* Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
* Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
* Good IT skills, including CMMS and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Level 3 Mechanical qualification
* Stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment
