Are you ready to take your water treatment analytical skills to the next level in a dynamic operations environment? We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Water Treatment Chemist to join our Chemical Solutions & Monitoring team, where you'll play a crucial role in optimising customer operations and driving commercial success.
Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive service plans containing scope of supply, timeframes, products, treatment limits, and performance expectations
* Conduct regular site visits and technical assessments to optimise customer operations and maximise productivity
* Complete and submit Consultant Service Reports within agreed timescales, detailing observations, consequences, and recommended actions
* Perform Legionella sampling to best practice standards and maintain documentation through internal monitoring systems
* Calibrate personal and onsite equipment, generating calibration certificates as required
* Operate dosing pumps, adjusting rates based on onsite test results and performing safe priming procedures
* Utilise InSight digital platform to generate reports, manage trends and alarms, monitor inventory stocks, and add parameters
* Communicate technical concepts to customers and collaborate with the wider Veolia Water Tech team
* Identify commercial opportunities for equipment upgrades, training, analytical services, and expanded scope of supply
* Maintain compliance with internal, legislative, and customer EHS requirements and policies
Qualifications
* Relevant industrial or manufacturing experience, or science/engineering degree
* Full valid driving licence
* Legionella training preferred
* Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to effectively support multiple managers and teams simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail with ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
